The higher tier ones are somewhat tough, but from what I’ve seen the bosses on the lower tier ones are stupidly easy. Also, if you fail the mission, you don’t get it back. You have to pay a key to re-open it, but most people’s first impression of the Forge was being locked out and losing their offering. Nearly everyone I know lost their first offering because the top ledge closes and traps you in.This isn’t Court of Oryx where you could do tiers for a good long while with stackable runes and new ones that dropped from bosses, meaning what excitement the Forge does generate peters out almost immediately. Offerings rarely drop in the Forge itself, meaning once you or the other players that happen to be there run out, that’s pretty much it.It’s not just that you can’t have a green and purple offering at the same time. You can get more by putting one (only one) in your vault, or having them on other characters, but that’s it. You cannot hold more than one “offering” at a time, meaning if you have one, another will never drop until you use it.I touched on this briefly the other day, but Archon’s Forge, the new public arena event in the Plaguelands, is a disaster on every level. The problem is that it instantly feels so essential that I have literally no desire to use any of the other seven artifacts. Sprint cooldown has always felt more like a bug than a feature, but now it’s clear that isn’t the case as its removal is now a rare perk. My point? This should never have been a perk, it’s something that the game simply needs, period. You may not notice it immediately at first, but play with it for a while, then switch it off again. In a game where you are constantly sprinting and un-sprinting to attack enemies and hide yourself, it feels so much better to be able to press spring and always have it sprint. I’ve been using Jolder’s, and quite simply, there’s no way to live without it. Jolder’s artifact gives players the ability to remove sprint cooldown, a strange choice given that this is something that fans have been requesting for years at this point, yet now it’s showing up as a perk on a single item. This week, if players complete the campaign and a relatively simple patrol quest, they’ll get access to one of three new artifacts, each with a special bonus power.
